Only someone with the intent to build applies for a building permit. A builder must purchase eight sets of drawings to prove his intent. The sales voucher and store records will verify this fact. Illegal copies of drawings made by a copy machine will not replace the proof of the sale, no matter how many blueprints are submitted. The date of the actual drawing is unimportant since the builder has 30 days from the date of sale to apply for a permit. The date of the sale is presented on the voucher. This prevents building multiple structures without purchasing additional plans.
If there is any doubt concerning the voucher, the building supply store can verify sales records. It's that easy, and much nicer than a legal investigation. |
