With Checkpoint, you choose how many plans to buy. Each plan is individually wrapped, allowing you to purchase them one plan at a time. You may buy one or two plans when you wish to study a design, or buy multiple sets to distribute to your subcontractors when you intend to build. Checkpoint's unique copyright protection system requires proof of purchase from the building supply store. This voucher is presented when applying for a building permit. Plans are rendered null and void without it. The number of plans purchased is revealed on the voucher, so be sure to buy the correct number of plans from your building supply store. (A receipt from a copy store will not meet Checkpoint's requirements.) There is an expiration date as well. This prevents re-applying for a building permit without first purchasing a fresh set of plans from the building supply store. We believe architects deserve proper compensation for their home designs. |
